Pie Iron Cherry Cream French Toast
This cherry cream stuffed french toast is so good it might keep you cooking around the campfire until lunch.

Ingredients

slices
bread

egg
1/4
cup
milk

tbsp
cherry pie filling
canned
2
tbsp
cream cheese
whipped
non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
Heat pie irons for 1 to 2 minutes in fire. While the irons are heating whip the eggs and milk together in a bowl.
Remove the pie irons and coat both sides with non-stick cooking spray.
Dip 1 slice of bread in the egg mixture and place in the pie iron,
Spread whipped cream cheese and pie filling over the slice of bread.
Dip the 2nd slice of bread in the egg mixture and place on top of the filling.
Close the pie iron and cook about 2 minutes on each side. Check and continue cooking until golden brown.
Remove the french toast and enjoy.

Try mixing it up with different fruit fillings like strawberries or black berries.
