Chocolate Covered Cherry Pies
You will love the flaky crust on these chocolate covered cherry pies.
  1. Heat pie irons for 1 to 2 minutes in fire. Remove and coat both sides with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Cut 1 pie crust into 4 equal pieces. You will use 2 pieces per pie.
  3. Place some pie filling and chocolate chips onto the middle of 1 of the pieces of crust. Places the second piece of crust on top and crimp the edges together. Then place in the pie iron.
  4. Close pie iron and cook for 2-3 minutes turning several times. Check and cook until golden brown.
  5. Remove and enjoy.
Recipe Notes

Substitute other pie fillings for some variety. Apple works great, or try cherry and pineapple and serve with ice cream and a banana for a great twist on a banana split.
